How EriHeroes Works
EriHeroes is a community-powered digital archive. Every person documented here was contributed, verified, and remembered by people who care about Eritrean history.
What You Can Do
Search the Archive
Browse thousands of documented Eritrean heroes by category, historical period, region, or organization. Use full-text search to find specific names.
Read Their Stories
Each profile contains biographical information, historical context, family background, photos, and verified sources collected from contributors worldwide.
Leave a Rose
Honor a hero by leaving a rose — a symbolic act of recognition. Each user can leave one rose per hero profile. Roses are counted and displayed on the profile.
Light a Candle
Light a virtual candle as an act of remembrance. Candles glow on the memorial wall and on each hero's profile, creating a living digital memorial.
Contribute a Story

Every submission is reviewed by our moderation team before publication. We verify for accuracy, duplicates, and content standards.
